Attorney Robert Heist serves as president of R. Connor & Associates, a boutique law firm representing clients in a range of matters from offices in Boston, Massachusetts, and Chicago and Lake Forest, Illinois. A resident of Chicago, Robert Heist pursues a number of hobbies in his free time, including playing golf. Fortunately, the attorney’s home region offers several courses that, according to Golf Digest’s 2019-20 rankings, hold distinction as being among the best in all of Illinois. These include:

Beverly Country Club stretches along a pair of rectangular parcels in the outskirts of Chicago. Redesigned by Donald Ross 10 years after its initial 1908 formation, the course underwent a significant renovation in 2002 that enabled it to return to its Ross-era glory.
Chicago Golf Club
Actually located in nearby Wheaton, Chicago Golf Club is believed by some to be the first 18-hole layout in the United States. Since its 1890s inception, the course has posed a particular challenge to slicers, who must contend with an all-out-of-bounds left.
Chicago Highlands Golf Club
Chicago Highlands Golf Club combines picturesque views with a dynamically designed, award-winning, 18-hole layout. Located on a 270-acre property in Westchester, the venue stands out as Chicagoland’s only family-friendly, gender-neutral club.
